It was routed through the respective national sports federation.Nandakumar alleged an internal investigation and scrutiny in the VFI had revealed that federation secretary general in connivance with a former secretary general and chief executive officer had given only USD 25 to the volleyball players. He further charged that they had transferred the embezzled amount into a sham account and siphoned off the money meant for players and officials and enriched themselves by falsifying and manipulating the federation accounts.Nandakumar submitted that though it had been more than a year since he lodged the complaint, no case had been registered.
