Based in Silversea’s Sydney office, Adam will lead the future growth and development of Silversea in the region, taking the ultra-luxury cruise line to the next level during an exciting period of significant growth and investment. “I am thrilled to join the passionate team at Silversea Cruises and it’s a pleasure to lead this phenomenal brand in our region,” Armstrong says. “Silversea is a cruise line that I’ve known and respected since I joined the cruise industry almost 20 years ago. I believe there is great opportunity to increase awareness of the Silversea brand and the number of guests that we attract from Australia and New Zealand – two of the fastest growing cruise markets in the world. “I’m also looking forward to the arrival of Silver Muse, our flagship, which arrives in Australia and New Zealand this summer for the first time. We are bringing our brand new ship down for five cruises through January and February between Sydney and Auckland. Then, next summer, Silver Muse will return for an extended four-month season,” said Armstrong.Silversea has announced the launch of two new vessels: Silver Moon, which is due to join the fleet in 2020, and Silver Dawn which is scheduled to be delivered in late 2021.
